How does it introduce the themes & narrative?

in the beginning we hear shouting "put the gun down"then were introduced to the characters.You can already tell its comedy thriller as theres a lot of jokes and humorous language and there this upbeat song in the background.

in the beginning there is audio dialogue in the background we see Brad Pitt and Samuel Jackson and then the use of the flashlight is used to transition into the next slide.

editing= a lot of flashy or fast scenes use of certain objects like flashlight or clock further creates mores suspense

sound=dialogue, screaming, the protagonist and antagonist voices, different things like a clock that you can hear.

 it says the name of the production company at the beginning after "every dog" has its day"

 it tells us who the main characters are a little bit about what the film is about
